Day 1: New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra Airport - Darjeeling (By Road 90 kms)Reception at NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra airport and transfer to Darjeeling via NH 55 which is appx.90 kms, at an height of 6500ft and takes around 3 hours to reach, the road passes through the Mahananda wild life Sanctuary and Tea Gardens, after certain interval of times you will get the opportunity to see the famous Darjeeling toy train, huffing and puffing across the road. Take a Short break at Kurseong, one of the sub-division of Dist.Darjeeling, to have a cup of famous Darjeeling Tea, then again start for Darjeeling, and check in at the hotel. After refreshed we recommend a relaxed evening with short walk around The Mall to enjoy the Hill life of Darjeeling. Overnight halt at Darjeeling.
Day 2: Darjeeling (Journey with Toy Train from Darjeeling Rly Stn to Ghoom Rly Stn)After breakfast we will take you for unforgettable journey of Toy Train/Joy ride from Darjeeling Railway Station till Ghoom Railway Station and back (appx. time taken is 1.5 hrs), Ghoom is one of the highest Rly. Station in India. The train runs on steam locomotive. It makes a round to the picturesque Batasia Loop (War Memorial) and halt there for around15 minutes. Spend some time taking photographs of Mt.Kunchenjungha. The train now takes you to Ghoom Station, after some time you will be taken back to Darjeeling. After lunch you will be visiting the Tourist spots like - Darjeeling Zoo, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee Center, Bhutia Busty and Tea Garden. Free evening at you own disposal. Overnight halt at Darjeeling.
Day 3: Darjeeling - Pelling (By Road 150 kms)Today early in the morning around 4 am you will visiting Tiger Hill (Sunrise Point), Batasia Loop and Ghoom Monastery, back at the hotel and after breakfast drive to Pelling in West Sikkim which is appx.150 kms at an height of 6100ft and takes around 4 hours to reach. During the first course of your journey you will be followed by Tea Garden, River Tista and Rangit, as you proceed towards Pelling you will be able to see the small and beautiful houses, which is made in the Sikkimies style. You can halt for sometime on the way to take the photographs of the scenic beauty. Check in at the hotel. Overnight halt at Pelling.
Day 4: PellingAfter breakfast you will be visiting the places like – Kunchenjungha Falls, Khecheoplri Lake, you will be having pack lunch at Rimbi Rock Garden, take rest for some time and after lunch you will be visiting - Rabdanse Ruence and Pemayangtse Monastery, back to hotel, free evening. Overnight halt at Pelling.
Day 5: Pelling – Ravangla (by road 50 kms)Today we proceed towards Ravangla, which is appx.50 kms, at a height of 7000ft and takes around 2hrs to reach. Ravangla is located in South Sikkim, this place is located between the two locally know hilltop i.e., Menam and Tendon Hill, during winter season its worth seeing this two hill tops when it is fully covered with snow. Check in at the hotel. Free evening to roam around the local market. Overnight halt at Ravangla.?
Day 6: RavanglaToday after early breakfast we will proceed for Maenam Hill trek which is located at an altitude of 10,612ft and takes around 3hrs (one way) to reach the hill. The path that leads to the hill fully covered with forest which under the maenam Sanctuary, where you may get a chance to face with Red Panda, Himalayan Black bear, Leaport, dear and may other species. Once you are at the top of the hill you will get the chance to see the 360 degree view of Mt.Kanchanjungha, along with other hills side by side, enjoy the moment taking rest and photographs, after some rest we again climb down. Back at the hotel. Free evening to kill your tiredness. Overnight halt at Ravangla.
Day 7: Ravangla – Gangtok (by road 70 kms)After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Gangtok, which is appx. 70 kms at a height of 5500ft and takes around 3 hrs to reach. The capital of Sikkim, Gangtok means “Hill top”, from here you will have the endless view of hills that fades into the horizon and towards the north – west you will be able to see the most beautiful snow covered Mount Khangchendzonga. Check in at the hotel, where you will be greeted with its typical traditional Hospitality. Overnight halt at Gangtok.
Day 8: GangtokToday after breakfast we will take you for full day Gangtok City tour, where you will be visiting the places like Government Institute of Cottage Industry, Orchid House, Sikkim Research Institute of Tibetology, Dodurl Chorten, Rumtek Monastery, Botanical Garden and Tashi View Point. Back at the hotel and free evening. Overnight halt at Gangtok.
Day 9: Gangtok – Kalimpong (by road 95 kms)Today after breakfast proceeds towards Kalimpong with is situated at an height of 4100ft and appx.95 kms from Gangtok and takes around 3hrs to reach. During the half of your journey River Tista will follow you and second half you will be passing through forest. On the way to Kalimpong there is place name Melli, from where we will go for White Water Rafting at Tista River till 27th Mile (Duration for rafting is1.5hrs). Check in at the hotel, free leisure evening. Overnight halt at Kalimpong.
Day 10: KalimpongToday we will take you for Kalimpong and in an around places excursion where you will be visiting the places like Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery, which was established by His Holiness Dalai Lama in the year 1976 and belongs to the Yellow Hat Sect of Buddhism, adjacent to this monastery there is a view point (Durpin Dara) at a altitude of 4500ft and one could see the 360 degree view of Mt.Kanchanjungha, beautiful valleys along with the plains. Now we will take you to another visiting spot i.e., Pine view Nurseries, where there is a huge collection of different kind of Cactus plant from all over the world. The most attractive and important tourist spot in Kalimpong is Delo view point situated at an altitude of 5500ft, the highest point in Kalimpong, from where you will be able to see the full Kalimpong town, River Tista, along with some places of Sikkim too, On our way back we will be visiting Dr.Graham’s Homes, which was a house of Dr.J.A.Graham, one of the Scottish Missionaries, who build up an Orphanage and a farm house in 1900. One will get a good opportunity to see the Old European Architecture. Back at the hotel and free evening for leisure walk around the town. Overnight halt at Kalimpong.
Day 11: Kalimpong – Lava (by road 30 kms) – Damding – LataguriToday we will check out from the hotel after early breakfast and drive to Lava, located at an altitude of 7200ft and appx.30 kms from Kalimpong town; from this place you will start your further trip by cycling till Damding, a place which is located in the plains. Although the path through which you will be cycling is a pitch road, but there are few down and high inclinations on the road. For the first half appx.32 kms you will be cycling in the hilly region and remaining appx.35 kms totally comes under the plain region. The region through which you will be cycling is very beautiful from where you will be able to see the high mountains, water streams flowing from the mountains, valleys covered with natural vegetation; overall one will get the good opportunity to see the beautiful landscape. Pack lunch will be provided on the way. After 5 – 6 hrs cycling you will reach Damding and from here will take you to Lataguri, one of the popular tourist destinations as it is nearer to Gorumara National Park, which possesses a sound population of one horned rhino, leopard, wild elephant and Indian bison. Check in at the hotel, free evening for you. Overnight halt at Lataguri.
Day 12: LataguriToday after breakfast we will take you for Gorumara National Park Jeep Safari (Timing 8 to 10 am). The journey gets through the core forest of Gorumara, which is a natural habitat of one horned Rhino, wild elephant, leopard, Indian bison and many other wild species. Inside the forest there is a watch tower (Rhino Point) from where you can get a vast panoramic view of Gorumara grassland, below the watchtower there are salt pit and regularly animals comes to taste the salt. A few kilometers away there is another watch tower from where you will be able to see the wild elephant and Indian bison, after the wild and adventures trip back at the hotel. Spend the day at the hotel relaxing and reading books, or else you can move around the nearby places adjacent to hotel. Now we will take you for another Safari to Chapramari Sanctuary (Timing 4.30 to 6.30 pm) another home for wild elephant, leapord, Indian bison and many other wild species. There a watchtower which is situated above the Natural pond from where you will be able to watch the activities of wild elephants as they frequently visit this place and love to spend most of their time in water to bit the heat from the crouching sun. Day 13: Lataguri - New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra Airport / Phuntsoling (Bhutan)Today after breakfast, we check out from the hotel and drive to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra airport/Phuntsoling (Bhutan) as per your train/flight/car schedule. On reaching NJP/IXB/Phuntsoling (Bhutan) your tour will be concluded.
